I'm a Southern gal  from a small town in Louisiana who, after years of talking about it, has finally decided to sit down and see if I have what it takes to become a writer.  I've been married to my wonderful husband, Terry, for almost 17 years and I have two amazing daughters.  I've also been fortunate enough to have made some wonderful friends during my journey who have made this experience as little less painful and a lot more fun.

The one person I wish was still alive to see this happen is my mom.  She's an angel in Heaven and I'd like to think she's smiling down at me right now.  I hope  she knows how much I love and miss her every day and I wouldn't be the person I am without her guidance and strength growing up.  She is the reason for my love of books which I was fortunate enough to pass on to both of my girls.
